Yamunotri Dham: Source of River Yamuna
Yamunotri is one of the Char Dham Yatra destinations of Uttarakhand. Yamunotri is in the Uttarkashi district and rises to a height of 3,293 Meters above sea level. It is near the border between China and India and is encircled by mountains on all sides. Yamunotri is situated 278 miles from Dehradun, 176 km from Chamba, 21 km from Sanya Chatti, and 236 km from Rishikesh.

- Embark on a scenic drive to Barkot through Mussoorie. Along the way, make a stop to visit the picturesque Mussoorie Lake and the cascading Kempty Fall (It is recommended to have lunch at Kempty Fall, as there are limited dining options before reaching Barkot). Continue the journey to Barkot and check in at your hotel. The remainder of the day is at leisure, allowing you to unwind and prepare for the hill journey to Yamunotri the following day. Spend the night in Barkot.

1.Early morning, drive to Jankichatti/Phoolchatti. Commence the 6km trek to Yamunotri, surrounded by lush greenery, conifers, rhododendrons, and Himalayan shrubs. Arrive at Yamunotri, cook rice in the hot kund, offer Pooja, and take a dip in Jamunabai Kund. Return to Jankichatti, then back to Barkot for an overnight stay.
2. Drive- 36KMs./1 Hours, Trek- 7Kms one Side/2 Hours.
1.In the morning, embark on a 82 km, approximately 4-hour drive to Uttarkashi. Upon arrival, check in at the pre-booked hotel. Enjoy the evening exploring Kashi Vishwanath Temple and Shakti Temple. Retire for an overnight stay at the hotel.
