Char Dham Tour Package

Char Dham tour package - Believes and History

In the Hindu religion, pilgrimage holds significant relevance in social, cultural, and spiritual aspects. There are four ashrams in Hindu Mythology. Vanaprasth is one of them that follows after Brahmacharya and Griastha ashram. Here, individuals begin their spiritual journey and moderately leave from worldly commitments. In the contemporary era, individuals begin the Char Dham Yatra and get connected with the divine force. In Hindi, “Char” signifies four, and “Dham” signifies religious sites. Uttarakhand often referred to as the Abode of Gods or Devbhoomi is the home of 4 Pilgrimage sites. These sites are Badrinath, Kedarnath, Gangotri, and Yamunotri. Tourists visiting Devbhoomi also visit the countless temples. The prominent temples of the Chardham Yatra are dedicated to Lord Vishnu and Shiva and Goddess Ganga and Yamuna. These Hindu shrines are open only for six months commencing from the onset of April and ending in November.
